Pastor Dave Thompson and his wife Karla have been leading our church since November 2015. Prior to joining Redmond Church of God, Pastor Dave served as an Associate/Worship Pastor at Sunset Park Community Church in St. Helens Oregon, and as Worship Pastor at Valley Hope Community Church in Hillsboro Oregon. Both Dave and Karla left successful secular careers to answer God's call to serve at Redmond Church of God.
Pastor Dave has a long association with several para-church organizations including Good Samartin Ministries, Prison Fellowship, Open Door Counseling Center, and the Gideons.
Dave is a song-writer and recording artist with a passion for worship. He is devoted to preaching and teaching the Word of God.
